Romantic, intentional floral design for weddings and meaningful moments.
At Petal & Promise, we believe beautiful design doesn't have to be overwhelming or out of reach. Our approach is simple — create florals that feel refined, intentional, and deeply personal, without unnecessary complexity. Every arrangement is designed to reflect your story in a way that feels natural, effortless, and quietly striking.
meaningful moments deserve to be honored with care.
Ellie Marsh is the florist and founder behind Petal & Promise — a one-woman studio rooted in seasonal blooms, honest craftsmanship, and the belief that flowers should feel like they belong. With nearly a decade of hands-on floral experience, she works with a carefully selected number of couples and clients each season.
She grows what she arranges.
Ellie keeps a cutting garden at home where she grows dahlias, sweet peas, and garden roses each summer. A lot of what ends up in her arrangements starts in her own backyard.
Flowers found her, not the other way around.
Ellie didn't study design in school — she started helping a family friend with a flower stand on weekends at 19 and never left. Everything she knows was learned by hand, bloom by bloom.
She works one season at a time.
Petal & Promise takes on a limited number of weddings per year — intentionally. Ellie books no more than two events per weekend so every client gets her full attention, not a rushed version of it.
From intimate ceremonies to full reception installs - take a look at what we've created.
Florals that last. Pressed pieces, dried bouquets, and keepsake arrangements that hold their beauty long after the day.
From bridal bouquets to full ceremony installs, designed around your vision and the season's best blooms.
Birthdays, anniversaries, dinner tables, and just-because moments. Arrangements made to be lived with.
No two designs are alike because no two clients are alike. Before we ever start sourcing or sketching, we get to know your story — your venue, your colors, your relationship, what you want the room to feel like when people walk in. Then we build something around all of that. We don't fit you into a template. We start from scratch every time, because that's the only way to create something that actually feels like you.
Petal & Promise intentionally limits the number of clients we take on each season. This isn't a business constraint — it's a design philosophy. When you're not stretched thin, you can actually pay attention. You notice when one stem is wrong for an arrangement. You remember the detail a bride mentioned in passing three months ago. Keeping things small is the only way we know how to keep things good.
We work with what's growing, not against it. Each arrangement is guided by the season's palette and what's at its most beautiful right now — not a trend board or a catalog. This means your flowers will always look alive, because they are. It also means that two weddings in the same month, even with similar palettes, will never look identical. Nature doesn't repeat itself, and neither do we.
